Thy giveth...and thy taketh away

So remember the nice Christmas present I got. You know the extra money (hahaha) I don't think extra and money should really be in the same sentence. Anyway it is gone now...$200.00 gone for one slip on the ice. I should have known something would happen...it usually does.

The good news. I am now off of work for 6 glorious days! YAY for me! My husband is really sick of me saying that. He said if I hear 6 more days one more time. I said "Don't worry tomorrow I will say 5"...LOL. Dealing with this whole car thing all day made my day go by fast so that was good...I guess. I would have rather had a slow day but what can you do, such as life.

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas! I hope all wake up to a baby under the tree. I put my order in to Santa for everyone. Let me know if I have to call customer service because he didn't come through.

If you would like to here a lovely Christmas story head on over to Murgdan's blog. I love it! Like usual she will make you laugh.

At least it was just a cracked rim and nothing more serious (like an injury to boot). That's what we try to remind our customers about when they call us with claims anyway...

Enjoy your multiple days off. I wish! LOL.

Happy ICLW!

Happy Holidays!

Oh no! So sorry to hear about the cracked rim! Cars are such a pain. Winter driving in northern states is even worse. (Coming from a fellow northerner dealing with 2+ feet of snow.)

Thanks for taking time to stop by my blog and leave a comment. :)

Have a very Merry Christmas and enjoy the time off. I'm jealous!

Geez. It's always something with the $$. I was so excited to get a little ahead this month and then D said "Oh, I need to take out (X HUGE amount of $$$) to leave my mom for the expenses this year." Ack!

(no really, we do have to leave some $ to pay for some stuff, and we do every year, but every year I forget calculating that in)

...and last month he totalled a car and we had to buy another. We could have paid for IVF for our 'incidental' expenditures over the last few months.

Have a very merry Xmas...
...and thanks for the link :-)

We didn't put up a tree this year so the only baby-the most important one will be in the manger.

Have a very Merry Christmas and a blessed new year!
